Recent works consider physical and perceptual space through collage-based photo-intaglio prints, cyanotype, and experiments in cut paper and stencils.
 
Gate Remnants and Retaining Wall Removed were made using torn and cut prints, collaged, scanned, and re-printed as photo intaglio prints. The works explore print as image and object, and how those concepts intersect with acts of recording, observation, memory, and impermanence. For me, these prints are small incantations for imagining changes in our built environment – gates, walls, and barriers removed.

In the smaller works, watercolor, cut paper, cyanotype are used to record, recreate, and reimagine ubiquitous features of the urban garden such as garden walls and common wood lattices, which separate shared space and delineate property lines, block views, provide a sense of enclosure, and let light pass through leaving an imprint of shadow.
